Language Component

 


1. Phoneme

Phoneme is language component has no meaning. Phoneme consists of:

Vocal: s, i, u, e, o. 

Consonant: b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r s t, v, w, x, y, z. 

Diphthong: ai, au, oi. 

2. Morlheme

Morlheme is language component that consists of a main word abd affix. 

Free Morpheme (FM) is independent: good

Bound Morpheme (BM) is dependent::goodness

3. Word is language component has meaning and class. They are noun, pronoun, adjectivr, verb. 

I have a book. 

4. Phrase

Phrase is combination of words but no subject and verb. Beautiful girl. 

5. Clause is combination ofvwords tgat have meaning as Subject and Verb. 

A. Main Clause (MC): independent  as Subject snd Verb. 

B. Sub Clause (SC) ; independent with Conjuction + Subject + Verb

6. Sentence

Sentence is combination of words with Subject and Verb. 

Ifta writes a letter. She is my friend.
