How to comprehend reading text? 

1. We need not read whole the text, except we have got much time. 

2. Read all questions in advance. 

3. We know kinds of the questions. 

Some ways relate to Reading, namely:

1. Each text is from a book or article has meaning. Non-continuous text is like brocure, label, graph, map, diagram, etc. But, Continuous text is narrative, descriptive, exposition, spoof and so on. 

2. A paragraph is a part of a text or writing activity that may have  a sentence or more  to develop  a main topic or main idea. 

3. A sentence that describes a main idea in a paragraph is called Topic sentencr. 

4. Topic sentence is put in the beginning, ending or sometimes in the middle of a paragraph. 

5. Description of the content is a main topic or main idea. 

6. Topic from a paragraph or text is point of view or subject in writing. Thus, a main idea is notes,   explanation, topic opinion from the writer'. 

7. Topic is a word or phrase (words combination that have meaning), on the other hand, main idea is a complete sentence.

B. Asking abiut specific information in the text
