Loving Friday

 

SMAN 5 Tuban that is located at Bektiharjo village has got literacy program for both students, teachers and staff. All students attend at 6.30 a.m. everyday in order to have literacy. The students bring a book and they read it within 15 minutes. Next, they have to write what they read and it is signature by the 1st lesson teacher.

There are 527 students who study there  otherwise 3 people non muslim. The lesson starts from 7 until 3 30 pm from Monday to Friday. We have 2 break. In the first break time, the students may have breakfast  drink or eat snack at school canteen. And the second break, they perform midday player in the mosque.

On Friday, however the boy students also do Friday prayer in surrounding mosques. Especially girls stay at school and wait for midday player.

Friday is the end of lesson because they have weekend as holiday. On Saturday and Sunday, the students can join extra curricular such as: futsal, volley ball, long march, basket ball, band, religion program, self defence, red cross, atletic and so on.
